Barracuda Backup

How do I choose what data gets replicated to the cloud from my Barracuda Backup Service?

  • Type: Knowledgebase

Solution #00005999

Scope:
This solution applies to all Barracuda Backup Servers.

Answer:
Cloud replication can be done either at the data source level or globally. This document provides instructions for both and assumes a data source has already been configured.

Data Source Level Replication:

1: Under Backup > Sources, click Edit next to the data source that you'd like to replicate to the cloud.
2: Near the bottom of the page, below the Folder Selection section, there is a section labeled Barracuda Cloud Storage. Put a check in the box next to 'Replicate to Barracuda Cloud Storage'.
3: Click Save at the top of the page.

Global Level Replication:

You can replication ALL of the data on your backup server to the Barracuda Cloud by going to the replication page and putting a check in the box next to "Send All Local Backups"

Note: Any changes to the replication settings will not take effect until the next backup of that data source occurs.
