Why is my Barracuda unit accepting connections on port 8000? May I change the administration port?

Solution #00003009

Scope:
All Barracuda Networks products, all firmware versions.

Answer:
All Barracuda Networks products accept connections on port 8000. This is the default web administration port, and you should connect to http://<BARRACUDA IP>:8000 to access the Web administration interface. You may change the default web interface HTTP port on the Basic > Administration page. The option is called Web Interface HTTP Port. You may also restrict web interface access to HTTPS only on the Advanced > Secure Administration or Advanced > SSL page.
