How can I troubleshoot issues with Barracuda Vx product activation?

Applies to all Barracuda Vx product offerings

After a Vx device is installed, the product must be activated by clicking on the link under "Subscription Status" on the Basic->Status page. You will be prompted to enter in the license token, which is a alphanumeric string with this format: "01234-56789-ACEFG." If you have already purchased the Vx license, you should have received this token already, either via an email message or when you downloaded the Vx package. If you did not receive this license, please contact Barracuda Support.

If you encounter an error code 400 after entering in the license token, this could be an indication that the wrong product image was installed. You can confirm this by accessing the Vx console and checking the device's Status page. If the console shows a product other than the one you purchased, please try re-downloading the image from our Vx download page.
