How to Configure a Web Resource for SSL VPN

After you configure the SSL VPN service, you can create web resources for it.

Configure a Web Resource

  1. Open the SSL-VPN page (Config > Full Config > Box > Virtual Servers > your virtual server > Assigned Services > VPN-Service).
  2. In the left menu, click Web Resources.
  3. Click Lock.
  4. In the Web Resources table, add an entry for each resource. For each entry, you can specify the following settings:

    SettingDescription
    NameThe name for the resource. For example, DMZWebServer
    Visible NameThe name that is displayed in the SSL Portal for the resource. For example, DMZ Web Server
    URL

    The URL for the resource. For example, https://172.25.1.2

    If your web server listens to a non-standard port, enter the URL as follows: :

    For example, if the server listens to port 8080, enter: https://172.25.1.2:8080

     

    Must Be HealthyIf users must check their health state before they are able to use the resource, select this check box.
    Activate Content RewriteTo enable automatic content rewrite for the resource, select this check box.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Send Changes and Activate.
