Self-Service VPN Provisioning on macOS

Users on macOS devices can install VPN templates for IPsec PSK or TINA VPN group policies by clicking the VPN provisioning link in the Settings section of the desktop portal.

Before you Begin

Self-Service VPN Provisioning for a TINA VPN

  1. Log into the SSL VPN desktop portal.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, click Settings. The Settings page opens in a new tab.

  3. Click Download Barracuda VPN.

  4. Click the VPN template to download the vpn file.

  5. Double-click the vpn file. The Barracuda VPN client starts and automatically imports the configuration.

  6. Click Save.

You can now launch the VPN Client and enter the username and password to connect to the Barracuda NextGen Firewall F-Series.

Self-Service VPN Provisioning for a IPsec PSK VPN

  1. Log into the SSL VPN desktop portal.
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, click Settings. The Settings page opens in a new tab.

  3. Click Download Standard VPN.

  4. Click the VPN template you want to install. The Profiles window opens.

  5. Click Install

  6. The VPN Profile is saved.

You can now launch the macOS VPN client and enter your username and password to connect to the Barracuda NextGen Firewall F-Series.
