Downloading and Accessing the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client
To access the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client, go to the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN web portal and click my Network.
When you first access myNetwork, the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client binary is downloaded and installed on the client computer.
Running the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client
After the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client is installed successfully and you click my Network in the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN web portal, the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client is automatically launched and initiates a client-to-site connection to the company network infrastructure. The user credentials that were entered on the SSL VPN login page are used to initiate the connection.

If a connection to the configured VPN server fails or single sign-on functionality should not be used, the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client automatically opens the client-to-site login window and you are prompted to enter your user credentials to establish a connection.

Certificate | Sets the path to the X.509 certificate used for authentication. |
VPN Server | The IP address of the VPN server that the client should connect to. |
Probe Target (TCP Only) | Verifies that the desired VPN server is reachable. |
Remember user credential (without password) | If the Barracuda NextGen F-Series SSL VPN Client should remember the username of the most recently logged in user, select this check box. |
Transport Properties

Use a proxy server to connect | If the connection is established through a proxy server, select this check box. |
User/Password | The user credentials for the proxy server. |

Simulate SSL | Simulates an SSL connection to the web proxy. |
X.509 Form Based Authentication
The X.509 certificate subject string (inclusive wildcards) stated in a X.509 certificate can be used in the Allowed User Group sections to regulate link visibility for each authenticated SSL VPN user.
