How to Configure OCSP Validation

  • Last updated on

Activate OCSP as an external directory service. Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) is a protocol used to check if X.509 certificates have been revoked by their respective certificate authorities (CAs). The CloudGen Firewall uses the information provided by OCSP to verify the authenticity of a certificate.

OCSP is not available for direct end-user authentication, but is used for online certificate verification by the VPN server.

Configure OSCP Validation

  1. Go to USERS > External Authentication.
  2. Click the OCSP tab.
  3. Enter the settings for your OCSP server.
  4. Click Save.
