This solution replies to:
- NG Firewall firmware versions 4.2.x, 5.0.x, 5.2.x
- netfence firmware versions 4.2.x


This message is continuously reported at a connection to the box via serical console:


  Connect script failed


What does it mean? 


You possibly have selected the wrong connectopn setting value in "Config" > "Administrative Settings" > "System Access" > "Serial Settings".


There are thre choosable options:

  ConsoleOnly (COM1)


Switch the access type to "Console Only". Save the configuration with "Send Changes" & "Activate".
