Solution #00006147

Scope:

Barracuda NG Firewall, Firmware version 5.2.4

Answer:

Note: When enabling a service the NG typically creates a host firewall rule to allow traffic for the specific service to access the resources on the NG, in this case you must specifiy a host firewall rule to allow access to the NG firewall.

This can be done by going to config > config tree > Infrastructure services > Host Firewall rules

From here you lock the box, and create a host firewall rule to coincide with the subnet your devices are located on that you want to sync with the NG. Specifically the service as NTP, and the destination would be the IP of the NG.

After that send your changes and activate, then you should be able to sync your devices by specifying the IP address of the NG firewall in the NTP server field.
