In the coming months, Barracuda Networks is introducing a redesigned user interface with a new look-and-feel for Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup. The new user experience aims to maximize user productivity and ensure a consistent user experience across all Barracuda Networks products.
What Is Changing
New look and feel – A new redesigned user interface with a more modern look and feel to the user UI with new icons and styles.
New sidebar menu – The previous top menu tabs have been replaced by a new sidebar menu to enhance navigation and simplicity. Note that sections, pages, and names have stayed the same but the design and menu locations have changed. See Sidebar Menu Options.
New enhancements – New enhancements include the following:
The current Protect page will be renamed to Restore in the updated navigation menu.
Information about the next scheduled backup will be relocated to the Dashboard, under the Backup section.
The Back up now button, which allows users to initiate an on-demand backup, will also be moved to the Dashboard under the Backup section.
The Products page has been refreshed, though its functionality remains unchanged.
Why Is It Changing
As part of our commitment to provide our customers with best in class enterprise software, the Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup user experience will include new UX improvements, enhanced security authorization, and upgrades.
When Is This Happening
Customers will start seeing this new user experience in Q2/Q3 2025.
Looking Ahead: Enhancements to the Restore Experience
In addition to a new redesigned user interface, Barracuda Networks is actively working on additional enhancements, including a redesigned Restore page that will bring more functionality and ease of use to your restoration tasks. Stay tuned for more information!

Simplified access to historical revisions with a comprehensive list view of all recovery points.
Upgraded search and filtering capabilities.
Easier identification of deleted data.
Added functionality for column sorting and management.
New recovery feature: Export to Microsoft Azure.
Sidebar Menu Options
Use the left sidebar to view the options.
To log out of Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, click on your profile at the bottom left corner and select Log out. Note that the profile icon may be hidden behind the cookies consent popup.
Account Switcher – Access other Barracuda Cloud Control accounts (primarily used by Barracuda partners and MSPs).
Product Switcher – Access your other Barracuda Networks products and services.
User Profile Menu – Manage your profile and log out.
Home – Access the new BarracudaONE dashboard and reports.
Products – View and manage your Cloud-to-Cloud Backup subscription(s).
Dashboard – View the Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Dashboard page.
Restore – Access the Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Restore pages.
Reports – Access and view the Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Reports and Audit log pages.
Settings – Access and view the Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Settings pages, which include backup inclusions/exclusions, user management and roles, email notifications, and support access.
