Use the steps in this article to activate a new Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup Service or convert a trial to a paid subscription. Note that if you are converting a trial to a paid subscription, your configuration and data backed up during the trial period is maintained.
- Go to http://login.barracuda.com, and log in.
- Click Backup in the left pane, and go to Admin > Activate Backup Product.
- Enter the Serial number and Linking code, and click Next.
The wizard launches. The Your Info page displays. Enter your corporate and user details in the provided fields, and click Continue.
In the Service Info page, enter a Service Name to represent the Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup service.
From the Time Zone drop-down menu, select the time zone for the service.
Enter the geographical location of the service in the provided fields:
If you are converting a trial, the Activation Type section displays. Select whether to Activate as new device or select Convert Trial and select the trial you want to convert to a paid subscription from the drop-down menu.
The Terms of Service page displays. Read the Terms and Conditions, and click I have read and agree to complete the linking process:
Once the service is linked, click Go to Dashboard:
