Data Inspector allows the ability to toggle back and forth between Microsoft 365 tenants (SharePoint and OneDrive). Global admin login credentials are required when configuring Data Inspector with each tenant.
Configuring Multiple Tenants
Follow the steps in the Getting Started article to configure the first tenant to work with Data Inspector.
When ready to add a second tenant, click on the dropdown list at the center-top of any Data Inspector page.
When the dropdown opens, click +Add Tenant.
Give the new tenant a name and click Save. The Data Inspector Setup Wizard with open. This is the same wizard used when configuring the first tenant. Some of the initial steps will not need to be repeated, so the wizard with begin at Step 5 of the Getting Started instructions.
Follow the instructions in the wizard. Note: global administrator privileges are required for each new tenant added.
Repeat the steps above to add more tenants.
Switching Between Tenants
To switch to a different tenant:
Click on the dropdown list at the center-top of any Data Inspector page.
Find the tenant in the provided list and click on it. You will be brought to the selected tenant’s Detections page.
