How to Create Portal User Accounts

Note:

The initial partner credentials you logged in with are a fail-safe account designed for security purposes only. Upon first logging into ECHOplatform you must create an Admin account which you will log in with moving forward. You should NOT be using the partner username for regular use.

Follow the steps below to create yourself an Admin account and repeat the steps for each MSP user that should be logging into ECHOplatform. No one should be logging in with the default partner credentials used for the initial sign in.

  1. At the ECHOplatform ribbon, click Preferences.
  2. Select Manage Portal Time-Out/Users from the Preferences drop-down menu.

Note: If an employee User Account has been created in Barracuda Cloud Control prior to creating/synchronizing the account in ECHOplatform, when the account is synchronized, the user will have access to all Barracuda MSP customer accounts in Barracuda Cloud Control.  This will happen irrelevant of whether they had access to all the accounts prior to the account being synchronized.
