Scope:
Applies to all Barracuda Spam Firewalls using eDirectory for LDAP, all firmware versions.

Answer:
The common syntax for eDirectory is:
  • Port: 389 (636 for secure LDAP)
  • Bind DN: CN=administrator,O=domain
  • Filter:
(|(mail=${recipient_email})
(cn=${recipient_email})
(uid=${recipient_email})) 
  • LDAP Search Base: ${defaultNamingContext} 
  • LDAP UID: cn 
  • LDAP Primary Email Attribute: mail
