Answer: If IMail is not allowing the Barracuda to connect or stay connected, verify these settings in IMail: You must restart the SMTP service after making these changes. For LDAP verification to work, you must enable LDAP on the IMail server. IMail uses an Open Source LDAP implementation. The IP Address of the Barracuda should not be in the Access Control list of SMTP
