Scope:
Applies to all Email Security Gateways using IMail LDAP for recipient verification.
Answer:
If IMail is not allowing the Barracuda to connect or stay connected, verify these settings in IMail:
- The IP Address of the Barracuda should not be in the Access Control list of SMTP
- Auto deny hack attempts should be unchecked
- The IP Address of the Barracuda should be in the SMTP Whitelist
