Barracuda Email Security Gateway

How do I deliver a message that was blocked on the Barracuda Spam Firewall?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 2 years ago
Solution #00001655

Scope:
This solution applies to all Barracuda Spam Firewalls, all firmware versions.

Solution:
From the Basic > Message Log page, use the filter to find the message that you would like to force-deliver. Check the box next to that message, and click the Deliver button at the top of the page.  Alternatively, you can click on the message and, in the new window that appears, click the blue Deliver link.

Additional Notes:
If you click on the message and find that the message body is unavailable, this means that you cannot deliver the message. Either it was blocked before the Barracuda Spam Firewall received the entire body of the message (maybe for rate control or IP reputation), or the message is too old and has been removed. For more information on Message Log retention, see Solution #00003040.
