Why are most of my incoming emails being whitelisted with a reason of "Recipient" on my Barracuda Spam Firewall?

Scope:
All Barracuda Spam Firewalls, all firmware versions.

Answer: 
When a message is white listed for the Recipient reason, it means that the Barracuda Spam Firewall has been locally configured to allow all email for that recipient address or recipient domain. To resolve this, go to Block/Accept > Recipient Filters page and check to see whether any of your user accounts or domain names have been added under the Allowed Email Addresses and Domains heading. If so, any email addressed to any users or domains listed here will automatically be white listed and allowed by the Barracuda Spam Firewall (unless they are blocked before the Barracuda Spam Firewall receives the recipient address).
