Scope:
Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall models 300 and higher using Communigate Pro LDAP, all firmware versions.

Answer:
Common syntax used for Communigate:
  • Port: 389 (636 for secure LDAP)
  • Unify Email Aliases: No
  • Bind DN: user@mail.domain.com or user@domain.com
  • LDAP Filter:

    (|(mail=${recipient_email})(userPrincipalName=${recipient_email}))

  • LDAP Search Base: cn=domain.com
  • LDAP UID: uid
  • LDAP Primary Email Attribute: mail
