Why can't my users modify their quarantine inbox settings on my Barracuda Spam Firewall?

Scope:

Barracuda Spam Firewall models 300 and above, all firmware versions.


Answer:

The preferences tab is only available if user features are enabled for that domain. To allow users access to their quarantine settings, Domains > Edit Domain > Enable User Features should be set to Yes.

 

Additional Notes:

The actual settings that a user can modify are controlled by Users > User Features. Newly created accounts will have the settings that are under the Default User Features. To change existing accounts, first navigate to Users > User Features. Under User Feature Overrides, enter the email account(s) that you wish to change, and then select the features you would like modified.
