This solution applies to all Barracuda Spam and Email Security Gateway, firmware version 4.1.x and above.
Follow the directions below to configure Outbound Spam Scoring Limits on the Email Security Gateway:
- Navigate to Basic > Spam Checking and locate the Outbound Spam Scoring Limits section. The Email Security Gateway can block and or quarantine email messages by score. To enable quarantine with blocking the quarantine score must be lower then the block score. Assigning any scoring level to 10 will disable the function.
- Outbound scoring limits are only relevant if the outbound relay has been configured under the Basic > Outbound tab. This tab used to be found under Advanced > Outbound/Relay in firmware versions before 4.1.
This is a global setting only and is not a feature of the per domain settings in models which support per domain settings (models 400 and above).
