Scope:
This solution applies to Email Security Gateway firmware releases 5.0 through 5.1.2.005.
Answer:
Some customers on firmware release 5.0 have experienced occasional issues with the incorrect blocking of emails with the reason "Password Protected Archive." The root cause of the problem was a software defect triggered by recent spam attacks utilizing password protected archives.
The issue has resolved in firmware release 5.1.2.006. All affected customers should upgrade to this release using the Advanced --> Firmware Update screen. For more information, please feel free to contact Barracuda Networks Technical Support.
