Does the Encrypt Email Button on the Barracuda Spam Outlook Plugin toggle the message between an Encrypted and Un-encrypted setting?

Solution #00006406

Scope:
This solution applies to the Barracuda Spam Firewall

Answer:
The Encrypt Email button on the Outlook Plugin toggles between whether the message being composed will be sent out encrypted or un-encrypted. If this button is clicked an odd amount of times, the message will be sent out encrypted. If this button is clicked an even amount of times, than the message will be sent out un-encrypted.

This button can be clicked at any time during the composition of a message in order to toggle the message for encryption. At this time, this button does not indicate whether it has been flagged to be sent as encrypted or un-encrypted. Care must be taken to ensure that this button is only clicked once during composition in order to encrypt and one more time if you wish to send the message un-encrypted.
