How can I resolve problems logging into the Barracuda Message Center (Barracuda Encryption Service)?

Solution #00006499

- The Email Security Gateway
- The Barracuda Email Security Service (BESS)
To be able to log into the Barracuda Message Center, you must first have received a notification from the service stating that you have encrypted email. Users who have not received a notification cannot (yet) create an account at the Message Center.

To access your encrypted email, just click on the link in the notification email. If you have previously received encrypted email from our service, then you would enter the password that you created before. If it is your first time accessing the service, then the system will prompt you to create a password.

NOTE: if you are an existing user and forgot your password, please use the "Forgot Your Password?" option on the login page.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The links that are sent to you in the notification and Password Reset emails are very long. Some mail clients do not transfer the entire string to your web browser and because of this, your login or password reset may fail. If that happens you can copy the URL in the email manually (via a cut and paste) to your browser. This will usually resolve any problems with accessing your account at the Message Center.

If you still cannot log into the Message Center please contact Barracuda Networks Support and we can work with you to verify who you are and get your password reset.
