  • Date changed: 8 months ago
Solution #00006130

Scope:

Barracuda Link Balancer 330 and above. Firmware version 2.2 and above

Answer:

You can schedule a recurring report to be sent hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. The report output is either emailed to one or more addresses or sent to an external FTP or SMB server.

Navigate to BASICS > REPORTS

1. Under Report Options specify the filters and the formatting for a report using the fields in this section.

2. Under Trends select the report options and view a Trend report by clicking View or select the check boxes of one or more reports to schedule them using the Schedule Report section.

3. Under Logs/Summary select the Report Options and view a Log report by clicking View or select the check boxes of one or more reports to schedule them using the Schedule Report section.

4. Under Schedule Reports you can schedule a recurring report to be sent hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. The report output is either emailed to one or more addresses or sent to an external FTP or SMB server. To schedule one or more reports for a one-time or recurring delivery, first create a Report Group Name for the report or reports that are checked, then fill in the following fields:

--Delivery Options

a. Email - Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas, to which the scheduled report(s) should be sent. The report is queued until processing completes and the report is emailed.

External Server - Complete these fields for the server:
i. Server Type - FTP or SMB server.

ii. Server Name/IP - Name or IP address of the server.

iii. Port - Port to connect to the server.

iv. Username - Username for logging into the server.

v. Password - Password for logging into the server.

vi. Folder/Path - Only needed for SMB server.
Example: \\myserver\data or /myfolder/ourdata

--Frequency - Specify once, or, for recurring reports, specify hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. Indicate the time of day for the report to run using 24-hour format (hh:mm).
