All Barracuda Load Balancer models, all firmware versions.
To safely break a High Availability cluster of the Barracuda Load Balancers and to prevent service unavailability or IP conflicts, follow these two steps:
- Go to the Advanced > High Availability page on the unit in the cluster that will no longer be running the same services as the unit it is currently clustered with. Click on the delete icon next to the IP address of the unit it is clustered with, delete the Shared Secret, save changes, and remove the connection to the WAN port of the unit.
- Go to the Advanced > High Availability page of the remaining unit that will continue to be online, click on the delete icon next to the IP address of the unit that it used to be clustered with, and delete the Shared Secret.
