Solution #00005570

Scope:

All Barracuda Load Balancers, firmware 3.6.0.012 and above.

Answer:
To handle persistence for Outlook Web Access we need two content rules for the "Exchange Web Services" Service, an OWA content rule and an ECP content rule.

OWA Content Rule:
  1. Navigate to Basic > Services.
  2. Click Add Rule for the Exchange Web Services Service.
  3. In the Content Rule Expressions section, set the Rule Name to OWA.
  4. Set the Host Match to *.
  5. Set the URL Match to /owa/*.
  6. In the Content Rule Servers section, set the Persistence Type to HTTP Cookie.
  7. Set the HTTP Cookie value to "sessionid"
  8. Set the Persistence Time (in seconds) to 1200.
ECP content rule:
  1. Navigate to Basic > Services.
  2. Click Add Rule for the Exchange Web Services Service.
  3. In the Content Rule Expressions section, set the Rule Name to ECP.
  4. Set the Host Match to *.
  5. Set the URL Match to /ecp/*.
  6. In the Content Rule Servers section, set the Persistence Type to HTTP Cookie.
  7. Set the HTTP Cookie value to "sessionid"
  8. Set the Persistence Time (in seconds) to 1200.
