[ CAS 2010 ] - What should I do if an ActiveSync test via testexchangeconnectivity.com fails with a FolderSync error?

Scope:

All Barracuda Load Balancers, firmware 3.6.0.012 and above.

Answer:
If your ActiveSync test fails, you can check the following on the CAS systems to resolve the error.
  1. Ensure that the CAS servers are updated to Rollup 3 or higher:
    • Navigate to the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel applet.       
    • Make sure that "Show updates" checkbox is checked.
    • Click on the Update Rollup that you are trying to figure out version information for.
    • Click on the "Click here for support information" link
  2. Ensure that NTLM authenticaion is enabled on the Microsoft-Server-ActiveySync IIS folder.
  3. Ensure that CAS has appropriate DNS entries
