Viewing Microsoft Defender Antivirus Results on the Services Dashboard

The Microsoft Defender Antivirus section of the Services Dashboard displays a current snapshot of Microsoft Defender activity for the sites and service plans that you have filtered for the dashboard.

  • The Devices in Good Standing dial indicates the percentage of devices with Microsoft Defender that have no threats and do not have overdue scans.

You can take action on threats detected from the Services Dashboard. Unprotected devices includes devices that have health issues or detected threats. For information about creating and configuring Avast Antivirus policies, see Setting Up Microsoft Defender Antivirus Policies.

To see the Microsoft Defender Antivirus results, you must select the All from the Service Plan filter. See To filter results by service plan in Viewing and Filtering Data on the Services Dashboard.
To view devices with health issues
  1. In Service Center, click Dashboards > Services Dashboard.
  2. In the Microsoft Defender Antivirus section, click the number above Devices with Health Issues.
  3. Optionally, filter the results by selecting the health issue.
To view detected threats
  1. In Service Center, click Dashboards > Services Dashboard.
  2. In the Microsoft Defender Antivirus section, click the number above Threats Detected.
  3. In the Alerts page, view and take action on the alert, if required. For more information about the Alerts page, see Alerts.
To view devices with overdue full scans
  1. In Service Center, click Dashboards > Services Dashboard.
  2. In the Microsoft Defender Antivirus section, click the number above Devices with Full Scan Overdue.
  3. Optionally, filter the results by selecting the health issue.
