About Including Devices

You can define rules for including devices in two ways:

Including All Newly Discovered Devices

Selecting this option includes all newly discovered devices in a site.

Including Newly Discovered Devices

Based on Device Features Selecting this option lets you include devices that have specific features. Discovered devices that don’t have these features are excluded from the site. See Automatically Including and Excluding Devices Using Custom Discovery Rules.

To include all newly discovered devices in a site

1. In Service Center, click Status > Onboarding Overview.
2. Click a site name.
3. Click More Actions, then click Modify Device Discovery Rule.
4. Select Include any new device discovered on the network in the site.
5. Click Save.
