Integration with SentinelOne for macOS Devices

Barracuda RMM 2023.3 provides integration with SentinelOne for macOS devices, providing powerful endpoint security for your macOS devices.

Users with SentinelOne can view and manage SentinelOne antivirus alerts for macOS devices through Barracuda RMM. You can also deploy SentinelOne to macOS endpoint devices using Barracuda RMM.

macOS devices can only support the SentinelOne integration after the Onsite Manager or Device Manager that manages them is upgraded to 2023.3, either automatically or manually.
macOS devices are also included in the SentinelOne SQL reports:

  • SentinelOne Antivirus Summary
  • Aggregate Site SentinelOne Antivirus Summary
  • Aggregate Site SentinelOne Antivirus Executive Summary

For more information, see macOS and SentinelOne in Deploying SentinelOne Protection with Barracuda RMM.

New Default Monitoring Policy for SentinelOne

Barracuda RMM 2023.3 includes a new default monitoring policy for SentinelOne, Barracuda-Deployed SentinelOne (macOS and Windows Alerting), that includes monitoring for both Windows and macOS devices. This monitoring policy can only be used by partners who deployed SentinelOne through Barracuda RMM and who are hosted on the Barracuda RMM SentinelOne North American or European portal.

This monitoring policy is included in the Baseline Monitoring and Enhanced Monitoring services.

For more information, see Using the Default SentinelOne Monitoring Policies.

BitLocker Policies

This release includes the introduction of policies to control BitLocker encryption on devices. When applied, the default policy that has been created for you encrypts all drives on Microsoft Windows devices it is applied to.

You can also create your own BitLocker policies. For more information, see Setting up BitLocker Policies.

Site Security Scan Improvements

Three new features have been added to the Site Security Scan

  • Two BitLocker tests have been added to the added to scan. For more information, see BitLocker Tests in Assessing Site Security.
  • All sites are now opted out of Open Port Data Collection by default. You can opt in at any time. For more information, see Enabling and disabling Open Port Data Collection for sites in Assessing Site Security.
  • The test known as Advanced Software Management security evaluation test in the Patch Security category has been split into four tests based on the following categories: Important, Moderate, Low, and Other.

The Antivirus Security category has been renamed Endpoint Security to better reflect the tests it contains.

Delete Devices on the Onboarding Overview Excluded Devices Page

You can now delete excluded devices from the Onboarding Overview Excluded Devices page. For more information, see Viewing Excluded Devices and Returning them to Management.
