When you install the Hyper-V service module, several reports are also installed in Service Center.
Creating Hyper-V Reports
The Hyper-V service module includes four reports that you can generate to demonstrate how you are monitoring and managing the virtual environments in your customer’s network.
Multi-Site Hyper-V Summary Displays an overview of Hyper-V hosts in the selected sites, including host configuration and resource consumption.
Site Hyper-V Summary Displays an overview of Hyper-V hosts in the site, include host configurations and resource consumption.
Host Hyper-V Summary Displays Hyper-V host information including configuration and performance details.
Host Hyper-V Guest Summary Displays Hyper-V Virtual Machine Guest details for a Hyper-V host.
You can view these reports from the Hyper-V dashboards, or you can access them from the Reports list.
To create the Multi-Site Hyper-V Summary report
- In Service Center, click Status > Service Modules.
- Click the Hyper-V link.
- In the Multi-Site Summary Report, area, click the Multi-Site Hyper-V Summary link.
- Specify the time period and click Preview.
To create the Site Hyper-V Summary report
- In Service Center, click Status > Service Modules.
- Click the Hyper-V link.
- Scroll down to the Managed Sites table.
- Click a Site name to open the Site Page dashboard.
- Under Reports, click the Site Hyper-V Summary link.
- Specify the time period and click Preview.
To create the Host Hyper-V Summary or Host Hyper-V Guests Summary report
- In Service Center, click Status > Service Modules.
- Click the Hyper-V link.
- Scroll down to the Managed Sites table.
- Click a Site name to open the Site Page dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Managed Hosts table.
- Click a Host name to open the Host Overview dashboard.
- Under Reports, click one of the following:
- Host Hyper-V Summary
- Host Hyper-V Guests Summary
- Specify the time period and click Preview.
