Archiving a report saves a copy of what is delivered in the Service Center database. It's a good idea to keep a record of the reports you send a client.

Once the configured retention period has passed, archived reports are not accessible. If there are reports that you need long term, ensure you save them locally. The default setting is 120 days, however you can set the retention period for longer. See Setting How Long to Keep the Data.
