Installing vs. Importing
A core set of monitoring policies are available in Service Center. There are two ways you can add more monitoring policies to Service Center:
Installing a monitoring policy New monitoring policies are automatically made available in Update Center. You can view a list of available monitoring policies and install the ones that you require. Installing a monitoring policy from Update Center is the fastest and easiest way to access new monitoring policies. See Installing a Monitoring Policy.
Importing a monitoring policy Monitoring policies can be exported from one instance of Service Center and imported into another. See Importing a Monitoring Policy.
