Accessing BitLocker Recovery Keys

Relying on a single method to store your recovery keys is not recommended. In addition to Barracuda RMM, use another method to back up your keys, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, or Microsoft Intune.

BitLocker recovery keys are displayed for all drives, whether the drive was encrypted through Barracuda RMM or not. If the Enable button is displayed, or if the drive is currently being encrypted, the Recovery key button is disabled.

  1. In Service Center, click Status > Devices.

  2. Click the device name.

  3. In the BitLocker area, click Recovery Key.

  4. Click Copy
