Configuring Avast Business Antivirus Policies: Installing and Uninstalling Active Protection Components

Active Protection components are the Avast Business Antivirus features that protect you in real-time. Most of these features are installed with Avast Business Antivirus. You can uninstall them at any time, and install any missing features that you need.

1. Click Service Delivery > Policies > Avast Antivirus.

2. Click the name of a policy.

3. Click one of the following tabs:

   • Workstation Settings

   • Server Settings

4. Click the Active Protection tab.

5. Click the Install this component link next to the component you want to install.

6. Click I understand, install component.

7. Click Apply Changes.

To Uninstall an Active Protection Component

1. Click Service Delivery > Policies > Avast Antivirus.

2. Click the name of a policy.

3. Click one of the following tabs:

   • Workstation Settings

   • Server Settings

4. Click the Active Protection tab.

5. Click next to the component you want to uninstall, then click Uninstall this component.

6. Click I understand, uninstall component.

7. Click Apply Changes.
