Follow these steps to set up Microsoft Patch Management in Barracuda Managed Workplace:

  1. Set up a Microsoft patch policy, if you are not using one of the pre-built patch policies. See Creating a Microsoft Patch Policy.
    Add the Microsoft patch policy to a service for use in a service plan, or apply it manually. See Creating Services.
  2. Optionally, set up an execution schedule for the patch policy to use. See Setting Up Execution Schedules.
  3. Set up approval groups. See Setting Up Microsoft Patch Approval Groups.
  4. Set up synchronization options. See Setting Synchronization Options.
    Set automatic approval options. See Automatically Approving Microsoft Patches for an Approval Group.
