Try This—Improving your Site Security Score

If you want to try improving your Site Security Score, choose a test where you have a lower score and take the suggested countermeasure. The next time the Site Security Assessment runs, your score improves.

For example, if you have a score of 50% score on the Software updates evaluation - Service packs test, you can improve this score by installing service packs on devices that don’t have them.

  1. Click the arrow next to the test, then click the number link next to Devices at risk for a list of devices.
  2. Install the required service packs on the devices.

The next time a Site Security Assessment runs, you can see an improvement in your score and the percentage improvement is displayed in the Patch Security category box.
