Barracuda Message Archiver

How do I enable journaling for the Barracuda Message Archiver on a Domino server?

Solution #00002532

Scope:
All Barracuda Message Archivers in use with a Lotus Domino server, all firmware versions.

Answer:
To configure the Barracuda Message Archiver to work with Lotus Domino, the Domino server must be configured as described in the following links.

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAE9L_3.0.0/com.ibm.content.collector.doc/connectors/t_afu_smtp_setup_ld.htm

Once you have set up Lotus's Mail Journaling database and specified which messages to journal, you must specify archiver@<IP>, where <IP> is the IP address of the Barracuda Message Archiver, as the Mail Destination. The Barracuda Message Archiver will automatically accept these e-mails and archive them as it receives them.

NOTE: Notes will strip BCC recipients from the journal wrapper and therefore this information doesn't show up when indexed
