All Barracuda Message Archivers, all firmware versions.
Disaster recovery (in relation to archiving) refers to the practice of keeping duplicate data in separate physical locations so that, in the event of a disaster, at least one copy of that data will survive. It is relatively easy to perform this function with Barracuda Message Archivers.
To back up the same emails on multiple Barracuda Message Archivers, you should configure journaling to work with each Barracuda Message Archiver at the same time. Whether this involves creating multiple POP3 or IMAP accounts with duplicate emails on your mail server, configuring the Barracudas to share a single POP or IMAP account, or configuring your mail server to forward a copy of each mail message to each Barracuda in turn, the Barracuda Message Archiver is flexible enough to automatically work in tandem with other Barracuda Message Archivers with no network communication between them. What matters is that each Barracuda Message Archiver receives its own copy of each archived email message.
