How should I enable journaling for the Barracuda Message Archiver on an MDaemon server?

Scope:
All Barracuda Message Archivers, all firmware versions.

Answer:
You can configure an MDaemon server to forward a copy of all incoming and outgoing messages to the Barracuda Message Archiver by doing the following:

From the menu bar:
  1. Click Setup.
  2. Click Primary Domain.
  3. Click the Archival tab.
  4. Click the option for Archive A Copy Of All Inbound/Outbound Mail.
  5. Enter the address archiver@<IP>, where <IP> is the IP address of the Barracuda Message Archiver.
  6. Click the box Include MDaemon Mailing List Messages in Archive Directory Also if desired.
  7. Check the option for Include MultiPOP collected mail in the archive mail also if desired.
  8. Check the option for Label archive messages with (?Archive Copy?) in message subject if desired.
  9. Click Apply.
  10. Click OK.
