Yes, you can create a user account for the Barracuda Message Archiver that will be able to fully administer the box without being able to see or read email. This user account will not see or be able to use the Basic > Search page, which is where an administrator would otherwise browse archived emails.
To create one, add the intended IT admin user on the Users > User Add/Update page. Then, on the Users > Account View page, click on the blue User link next to the account you want to change to IT admin. In the resulting pop-up window, you should be able to select IT Admin from the Role drop-down list. Click Save Changes to make this account an IT admin.
