How do I configure my Barracuda Message Archiver to work with CommuniGate Pro?

Scope:
All Barracuda Message Archivers in use with a CommuniGate Pro mail server, all firmware versions.

Answer:
To use the Barracuda Message Archiver with CommuniGate Pro, you will need to apply this rule in the Queue > Rules section of the Communigate Pro Admin interface.

The Condition to match:

"Any Recipient" "is not" <archiver@IP address of the Message Archiver>

The Action to take:

"Mirror to" <archiver@IP address of the Message Archiver>

Basically, the rule says if an email in the queue is not already destined for the Barracuda Message Archiver then create a mirrored copy that will be destined for the Message Archiver. The search condition is required to prevent the mail server from looping mirrored messages.

The Barracuda Message Archiver will automatically accept e-mail sent to the archiver@<IP address of the Message Archiver> address and archive the messages as it receives them.
