How can I set the amount of internal storage to use before rotating to external storage on my Barracuda Message Archiver?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: one year ago

Solution #00004842

Scope:

Applies to Barracuda Message Archiver, firmware version 2.2 and above.

Answer:

On Barracuda Message Archiver, firmware version 2.2 and above, the administrator has the ability to set the amount of internal storage to use before rotating to external storage. This is set in Basic > Administration > Storage Controls. The Barracuda Message Archiver will rotate old data to external storage when it reaches the value set for "Threshold at which to start rotating" until it reaches the value set for "Rotation end point." The value for "Rotation end point" must be less that the value set for "Threshold at which to start rotating."

Additional Notes:
For information on adding external storage to be used by the Barracuda Message Archiver, see Solution #00002671.
