How to Uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client for Linux

Uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client for Linux or the macOS command line according to the instructions given in the section for your operating system. To remove the Barracuda VPN Client for Linux or the macOS command line , you must uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client as root. Before You Begin

Before uninstalling the Barracuda VPN Client for Linux, terminate any established VPN connections.

Uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client for RPM package-based Linux

  1. Open a command-line window.
  2. To uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client, enter: rpm -e barracudavpn
  3. (Optional) To remove any certificates and licenses, enter: rm -rf /etc/barracudavpn

Uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client for Debian

  1. Open a command-line window.
  2. To uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client, enter: dpkg -r barracudavpn
  3. (Optional) To remove any certificates and licenses, enter: rm -rf /etc/barracudavpn

Uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client for FreeBSD

  1. Open a command-line window.
  2. To uninstall the Barracuda VPN Client, enter: pkg_delete barracudaVPN-2.0-SP2
  3. (Optional) To remove any certificates and licenses, enter rm -rf /etc/barracudavpn

  1. If a Barracuda VPN Client shortcut was created in the Dock, remove the shortcut.
  2. Open a command-line window.
