PST Enterprise Client fails to discover PSTs as Autodiscover is unsuccessful

Scope: PST Enterprise, all versions


When running the PST Enterprise Client, you see that the PSTEnterpriseClient.exe process starts up but no PST files are discovered and no processing takes place. Examining the PST Enterprise Client log you see that the reporting of the PST file to the PST Enterprise server fails:

Examining the PSTProcWebservice.log on the PST Enterprise Server, you can see that Autodiscover is called for the newly discovered PST to obtain the owner’s mailbox details, however this fails:

Autodiscover must be available for PST Enterprise to obtain the user’s mailbox details from Exchange.



You should diagnose the issue with Exchange Autodiscover. Using the Barracuda Autodiscover Test Tool (https://campus.barracuda.com/product/pstenterprise/article/PST/AutodisoverTroubleshoot/) and the Microsoft Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer (https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/) will assist you.
