The Barracuda SecureEdge Manager allows administrators to configure and authenticate Google Workspace as an identity provider.
Configure Google Workspace
Go to https://se.barracudanetworks.com and log in with your existing Barracuda Cloud Control account.
In the left menu, click the Tenants/Workspaces icon and select the workspace you want to configure Google Workspace as an identity service for.
In the left menu, click Identity > Settings.
The Settings page opens. In the Identity Providers section, click Add Identity Provider.
From the drop-down menu, select Google Workspace.
The Add Identity Provider page opens. Specify the values for the following:
Display Name – Enter display name.
Google Workspace Domain – Enter the Google Workspace domain name.
Click Save.
In the Identity Provider table, you can now see that the identity provider Google Workspace has been added and that under the fieldname STATUS there is the warning Authorization Needed.
Click Authorization Needed.
Authenticate with your identity provider. Enter your admin Google credentials and click Sign in.
In the Identity Provider table, you can now see that under the fieldname STATUS the text now states Active with a green check mark.
You can see that once you have added an identity provider, the option Add Identity Provider is disabled.
Remove Google Workspace
Go to Identity > Settings. The Settings page opens.
In the Identity Providers section, you can see that Google Workspace is displayed.
To remove Google Workspace, click on the trash can icon.
The Remove Identity Provider page opens.
Click OK to confirm.
(Optional) Test Google Workspace
If you must test Google Workspace quickly, proceed with the following steps:
On the Settings page in the Identity Providers section, click the icon of three vertical dots to test the identity provider.
To authenticate your identity provider, click Test Identity Provider.
The Sign in with Google page opens. Enter your email address and click Next. Note: Enter the Google admin email address that you used for syncing the directory.
After logging into your account, you receive the confirmation message that the authentication was successful.
