Barracuda SSL VPN

How do I create an Outlook Web Access Web Forward using Web Forward Templates on my Barracuda SSL VPN?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 7 years ago

Solution #00005865

Scope:

This solution applies to the Barracuda SSL VPN, firmware version 2.2 and higher.

Answer:

With the introduction of Web Forward Templates in 2.2 the aim is to reduce the amount of effort required for creating resources. Web Forward Templates automate much of the configuration process required in common Web Forward configurations, i.e. known paths used in the target website and attributes used for passing authentication.
  1. Go to Resources > Web Forwards.
  2. Select the Web Forward Category for your Outlook Exchange server version (2003, 2007, or 2010).
  3. Provide the required details, Resource Name, Hostname, and for some templates the Domain.
  4. Set whether or not the resource should use Single Sign On and be a Favorite resource for all users that have access to it.
  5. Assign the policies that will be able to access the resource and select Add.
The resource will be created and ready for use.
