Barracuda Web Application Firewall

How do I increase the session timeout / keepalive for a service on the Barracuda Web Application Firewall?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 7 months ago

Solution #00003918

Scope:

All Barracuda Web Application Firewalls.

Answer:
The keepalive timeout parameter specifies the time in seconds for persistent connections with clients. The default setting for this parameter is 60 seconds. A value of 0 can be used to ensure the session will never timeout.

Modifying the Session Timeout for a Service

  1. From the Basic > Services page click Edit next to the service you want to change. The service page opens.
  2. Change the value of the Session Timeout parameter.
  3. Click Save Changes to save and activate the new setting.
