Solution #00004942

Scope:

Applies to Barracuda Web Application Firewalls.

Answer:

To create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) on the Barracuda Web Application Firewall:

  1. Go to Basic > Certificate > Create Certificate.
  2. Enter the appropriate information into the following fields:

    Example:

    Certificate Name: Barracuda_Networks
    Common Name: www.barracuda.com
    Country Code (2 characters): US
    State or Province: CA
    Locality (City): Campbell
    Organization (Company) Name: Barracuda Networks
    Organizational (Departmental) Unit: Support
    Key Size (bits): 2048
Disallow private key export: (keep this unchecked)

  3. Click on Generate Certificate.

This will create a self-signed certificate and the CSR. You can send the CSR to a third-party vendor to get the certificates signed.
