Barracuda Web Application Firewall

Why isn't SNAT (Source Network Address Translation) being applied to the VLAN interface on my Barracuda Web Application Firewall?

  • Type: Knowledgebase
  • Date changed: 8 years ago
Solution #00005790

Scope:
This solution applies to the Barracuda Web Application Firewall, firmware version 7.3 and above

Answer:
The "Enable SNAT for LAN Servers" option is only applied to standard LAN interfaces, not the VLAN interface.

To Enable SNAT for your VLAN interface properly, please consult Solution #00004061, and see the section labelled "Source Network Address Translation".
